Optic Coupler Brief Introduces:
A Fiber Coupler is an Optical Fiber device with one or more input
fibers and one or several output fibers, with low insertion loss,
low polarization dependence, and excellent environmental stability.
Accurate coupling ratio's from 50/50 to 1/99 are available with
very tight uniformity. The multi-mode Standard Coupler components
perform power splitting and monitoring functions in all kinds of
the optical communication systems.
Other wavelength-sensitive couplers are used as multiplexers in
wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) telecom systems to combine
several input channels with different wavelengths, or to separate
channels.
