Basic Information:
LC fiber optic pigtails, including the single-mode and multimode types, these LC fiber
pigtails are with premium grade connectors and with typical l 0.9mm
outer diameter cables. Simplex LC fiber pigtails and duplex LC
fiber pigtails are available, with different cable colors, cable
diameter, and jacket types optional.
It is with one-piece construction and pulls proof design. LC is a
low-cost but high performance, which makes it one of the most
popular cables. We supply the single-mode 9/125, multimode 50/125,
and multimode 62.5/125 types LC fiber optic pigtail cables. They
are with various UPC, and APC connectors respectively. Our LC fiber
pigtails are available in simplex or duplex versions, with custom

How to Choose Fiber Optic Pigtail?
1) Fiber Cable Mode: Single Mode or Multimode
The mode of fiber patch cables indicates how light beams travel
within the fiber. There are two fiber cable modes: single mode and
multimode.
2) Choose the Right Cable Jacket Type (PVC/LSZH/OFNP/Armored)
Usually, there are three cable jacket types: Polyvinyl Chloride
(PVC), Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) and Optical Fiber

3) Connector Type: LC, SC, ST or Others

Since the loss of the APC connector is lower than UPC connectors,
usually, the optical performance of APC connectors is better than

(PON) and wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) that are more
sensitive to return loss. But APC connector is usually expensive
than UPC connector, so you should weigh the pros and cons. With
those applications that call for high precision optical fiber
signaling, APC should be the first consideration, but less
sensitive digital systems will perform equally well using UPC.
Usually, connector color of APC patch cable is green, and of UPC
patch cable is blue.
